Honey and other bee products

The “Norų” farm's honey is one of the best-selling not only in Dzūkija but also in Lithuania

Everyone knows that bees collect honey but few people think about the hidden side of the honey road from the hive to the humans’ beings hands. Did you know that the quality of the honey depends on the site selection of the hives, how honey is taken, how it is turned, how and when it is poured. Due to this reason we pay a special attention to apiaries site selection, honey collection, turning, pouring, storing, transportation and selling.

We keep hives in more than ten different locations in Lithuania: Alytus, Varėna, Lazdijai, and during the summer time they are transported to other locations where various plants bloom more abundantly. For this reason, we can offer different kinds, smells and colours of honey.

In response to customer needs, we collect and other bee products. The most popular products: bee bread and propolis. These products are usually recommended by doctors to treat different diseases or for people who want to strengthen the immune system. Sometimes on a special request we collect dead bees from people with the aim to produce therapeutic infusions. Proper care of bees, cleanness, ecology, well-groomed hives and love for their work are the most important values of the “Norų” family.
